Sunday Riley Luna Review

  1. Glad you like it!! I was confused at first too Bout using it with Good Genes. I thought I was gonna burn my face off, especially since my skin is dry, dry & SENSITIVE!! I was pleasantly surprised and experienced nothing but positive results from using Luna alone and in conjunction with Good Genes. The good thing about Luna is that it is an oil & will last a bit longer than a cream. At least that's how I justify why I kept buying products that my bank account screams at!! Great video as usual!!

    1. Hi Todd! Yes, I love it, and I agree with you. Oils do last longer than creams! Thanks for your support!

    1. Hi Tom! You're welcome :) Thank you for your support! I have received many comments from Europeans saying they can't wait to get their hands on it. Considering Caroline Hirons was someone who spilled the news about Luna, I'm sure it'll be available there soon!

  4. Hi I just got this and used it for the first time last night but I don't think I used enough. It doesn't say on the box how much to use. How much is the right amount? The size of a dime or a quarter maybe? Or how many drops? And also how do you apply? I put a bit in my left palm then slightly rubbed my hands together than massaged my face but I don't know if that is the best way to apply. I was actually surprised because it seemed kind of thin or watery to me. I expected it to be thicker which would make it easier to apply. It is not meant to be shaken is it? Thanks!

  5. Hi Donna! I personally use three drops, though there is no indication of how much you need to use. I don't shake it either. I pour some drops on my hand, rub them together and them pat them on my face and neck. My "Nighttime Skincare Routine" video which I posted a couple weeks ago shows me using it, if that would help. Xoxo

    1. Hi I contacted Sunday Riley and this is their reply: Depending on your skin type, I would recommend using anywhere from 3-5 drops of Luna (dry skin using more, while oilier skins typically need less).

  6. Hi! Do you think it's too early to start Sunday Riley Good genes and Luna at the age of 20? I'm quite curious to try them, but I don't want to thin out my skin too early

    1. If you don't have any issues with dark spots (I doubt it because you're young), then I'd say save your money and instead look for hydrating serums - something like Caudalie Vinosource SOS Quenching Serum

    2. Thank you! Though I don't have any dark spots, I do have some hyperpigmentation from my older acne. I've been using Good Genes for a few weeks and the pigmentation have lightened a bit, but I was hoping that Luna could fast forward the process. Do you still think it's better to spend money on something else or should I give Luna a try?

    3. Good Genes is very potent and will keep fighting your hyperpigmentation -- you should keep seeing results as weeks go by. Luna is very expensive, so I would never tell anyone to go run and get it. What I suggest is you go in-store and ask for a sample or two. Just tell them you know it's expensive and you would really like to try it before you commit to a full-size. Then if you do like it and you've noticed a difference in your skin, get it :)

  7. I'm looking to try Sunday Riley out and I'm trying to figure out what product to try. I keep hearing great things about Luna but the rentinal/rentina makes me nervous. I was given rential by a dermitoligist in the past and it made my skin very peel and uncomfortable. I tend to have dehydrated skin but am also acne prone. With what you know about this product would you think it would work well with my skin?

    1. The retinol in this product should be much kinder than any Rx kind. Do you have a Sephora near you so you can get a sample?

  9. If I want to use Good Genes and Luna in conjunction, which should come first?

    1. Actually, since I posted this, I've learned that it's best to use both separately. Xo
